2 lb beef steak cubed, 6 cups water, 16 oz. Heinz 57 Sauce, ½ c ketchup, ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce, ¼ cup vinegar. - Heat beef in large skillet until brown. Add water, heat to boiling, reduce heat slightly, and simmer until most of the water has evaporated (about 25 minutes). While meat is simmering, combine Heinz 57 Sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar. Pour sauce over meat and heat for 5 minutes. Serve over rice. Serves 8. - All ingredients store well. Works well with cheaper cuts of beef, wild game or bottled meat. Saucy, tart, and bold vinegar flavor. A little meat and sauce flavors a bigger portion of rice. Any vegetable makes a great side to this dish.
